Ok now that I’m all caught up on the last few months…here’s what was under my needle today!
Tricia’s baby quilt from our early-December retreat wasn’t as time-sensitive, so it waited patiently for me to get through the holiday rush! They don’t know if baby is a boy or girl yet, so we tried to stay neutral with colors. Thread color is “mother goose” and the pantograph is called Be-leaf It Or Not by Longarm League.
Madelyn’s patriotic table runner was also completed at our retreat. I will never forget all the cursing that came along with those tiny stars! I used a red/white/blue variegated thread and a pantograph called Firecracker which I believe I downloaded from Urban Elementz. This one was a challenge because Madelyn had only 16” of backing for her 14” wide table runner, so I asked her to add some 2.5” strips to each side to give me a little wiggle room when pinning it to the leaders of my long arm. Worked like a charm and once it’s trimmed and bound, you’d never know we cut it so close!
