Fall Recap

Radio silence from Mimi’s Nest doesn’t mean it’s quiet here…we’ve been very busy quilting leaving no time for posting for the past couple months! Hopefully this week, I’ll catch up with posts as we head into 2023.

Let’s see…back in November, I was working on a beautiful vintage quilt for a customer that deserves an entire blog post of its own. I took the little chickens to quilt retreat at Pilgrim Park where I taught them to make rag quilts with my friends Tricia and Jenny (and 2 of Jenny’s daughters!) I continued the transformation of my basement into my new quilting studio. And I started quilting the quilts that I had started for Christmas gifts.
